Barcud Housing Association goes out to consultation

Barcud Housing Association has commissioned Asbri Planning Ltd to undertake a pre-application consultation on a development site in the heart of New Quay. The proposed site could include much-needed affordable homes for local people and a reconfiguration of the town’s current parking area.

The proposal will be subject to pre-application consultation prior to formal submission to the Local Planning Authority in accordance with the requirements set out in Part 1A of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) Order 2012.

A public exhibition is being held on the 4th of June between 13:00 and 18:00 at Memorial Hall, Towyn Road, New Quay, where the proposals will be displayed.  Team members from Barcud and the Asbri design team will be available to answer any questions.  The proposed application, plans and other supporting documents will be displayed to allow the locals, prospective new residents and the broader community to get a feel for the project.

Recognising the diverse needs of our stakeholders, we have made all the information available online at: https://www.asbriplanning.co.uk/statutory-pre-application-consultation/central-car-park-lower-towyn-road-new-quay/ This ensures that even those unable to attend the event at the Memorial Hall can access the details and provide their feedback.

For those without access to the internet, computer facilities are available at New Quay Community Library, Room 4 Memorial Hall, Towyn Road, New Quay, Ceredigion (open Tuesday and Thursday 3:30pm – 5:30pm, Friday 5:45pm-7:00pm).

Your feedback is crucial to us. We value your insights and perspectives, and we encourage all stakeholders to participate in this consultation. Your input will help shape the future of the proposed development site.
