Siân Hopwood, a Senior Housing Officer at Barcud, has been shortlisted for Inside Housing’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list, celebrating outstanding individuals under 40 who are shaping the future of the housing sector.
Based at the Ty Canol offices in Newtown, Siân was chosen from over 300 applicants for her exemplary work and dedication. Her nomination came from Housing Manager Jean O’Neill, who highlighted Siân’s exceptional performance and leadership qualities.

The 40 Under 40 awards, organized to mark Inside Housing’s 40th anniversary, aim to showcase talent and leadership within the UK housing sector. Siân attended the awards ceremony in Manchester last week, where although she was not selected for the final 40, her achievement in making the shortlist is a source of great pride for Barcud.
